Woody Welcomed Arsenal

On a sunny autumn Sunday morning Woody welcomed Anne from Arsenal. The mood was quiet following the death of Her Majesty the Queen but Woody brought a lot of warmth to the occasion.

Anne is a very proactive Arsenal fan. Anne has experienced some negative accessibility at other grounds and works hard to educate other clubs to make sure football is accessible for all. Needless to say she was more than satisfied with the facilities at the Gtech. Woody and Anne swapped more than shirts, they actually did a cake swap! Woody gave Anne a piece of birthday cake and she gave Woody a piece of Christmas cake she had made.

Anne took the three points and her cake home but Woody gave her a very warm welcome and showed her accessibility is a priority for Brentford.

The balloons and banners in the Sensory Room were to celebrate Woody's 10th birthday. He is the birthday boy today so thank you to all those who wished Woody a Happy Birthday!
